The call supports domestic micro and small enterprises to develop quickly marketable, innovative products, services and procedures. Only those project proposals can be funded which involve a novel element, are commercially marketable and contribute to making micro and small businesses more innovative. The call is financed from the NRDI Fund and is open to applicants in the Central Hungary region (Budapest and Pest county).
Submission of applications
The applications have to be submitted electronically on the Participant Portal (Pályázati e-ügyintézés) which can be reached through the www.palyazat.gov.hu website. Along with the application finalised in the online application form, applicants have to submit a duly executed statement certifying the electronic submission of the application. Submissions are accepted from the announcement of the online application form as long as available funds last, but no later than 12 March at 14:00 (CET).
The call is open to legal entities with registered seat, business premises or branch office in the Central Hungary region or the Central Hungarian branch offices of legal entities with registered seat in the EEA, which belong to one of the company form categories specified in the call, provided that they have at least one completed business year, maintain double-entry accounting and are not subject to the simplified entrepreneurial tax (EVA) or the small taxpayers’ itemized lump sum tax (KATA).
Eligible objectives and actions
Project proposals have to be implemented in the applicant’s seat, business premise or branch office in the Central Hungary region registered before the submission of the application. The following activities are eligible (only experimental development can be funded if the applicant applies independently):
The budget is proposed to be HUF 10 billion.
Applicants can apply for a non-refundable support of min. HUF 30 million, max. HUF 100 million.
Duration of the project
Funded projects shall be implemented within 24 months from project launch. Eligible project costs can be declared from the start date specified in the grant agreement. The beneficiary shall maintain the project results for 1 year.
