Vice President for Research and Development

Sebok Katalin, NKFI Hivatal elnökhelyetteseVice Presidents assist the President's work and perform their duties under the supervision of the President. Vice Presidents shall be appointed and dismissed by the Prime Minister on the recommendation of the President. Term of the appointment is 5 years, one can be appointed for no more than two terms. Vice Presidents oversee the activities of their subordinated organisational units, the heads of which report to the Vice President on the work performed by their respective units. In the NRDI Office, the work of the President is assisted by three Vice Presidents: the Vice President for Innovation and General Affairs, the Vice President for Research and Development and the Vice President for External Relations.

The Vice President for Research and Development:

is the operative manager of carrying out the NRDI Office's professional tasks regarding research and development grants disbursed from the NRDI Fund as provided by the law, in this capacity he coordinates the calls for proposals to be prepared and announced, the invitation of the members of expert panels and Disciplinary Councils, the assessment of proposals, the conclusion of grant agreements, the issuance of grant documents, furthermore the follow-up and monitoring of awarded proposals.
