Between August 28 and September 2, 2013, a Vietnamese delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) negotiated international relations, in Budapest. The current S&T cooperation agreement between Hungary and Vietnam was signed in 2005. The National Innovation Office in Hungary, and the Ministry of Science and Technology in Vietnam are the bodies in charge for the implementation of the intergovernmental agreement.
During the negotiations, the Parties agreed on the bilateral programs for next year, and the joint call for proposals in the first quarter of 2014.
The NIO also organised a professional program for the Vietnamese guests from the MOST: in the frame of the priorities of S&T cooperation they visited Hungarian universities, research centres and companies working in the fields of engineering, water management and biotechnology.
