A decision has been adopted on providing domestic funding to projects implemented in the framework of international science and technology (S&T) cooperation calls.

The Research Grant Hungary (RGH_24) is a new funding scheme that provides priority support for up to five years to outstanding researchers in the most dynamic creative phase, at the forefront of international science, who are foreign nationals or live and work abroad, and who, as leaders in their field, contribute to Hungary’s development as a regional hub of research, development and innovation by implementing promising research projects. A further objective is to integrate researchers at the forefront of international science in the innovation focal areas defined in the John von Neumann Programme into the innovation ecosystem in Hungary, with the aim of achieving measurable world-class research over the period of the call for proposals. Projects must be implemented in a Hungarian host institution with a compulsory university affiliation.

The aim of the call is to support activities for the protection of intellectual property rights in Hungary and/or internationally.

A decision has been taken on the applications for funding under the call for proposals “Support for Innovation Projects in Focus Areas” of code “2023-1.1.1-PIACI_FÓKUSZ”.

The aim of the call financed from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund is to provide the national contribution to Hungarian organisations successfully participating in the joint international ERA-NET COFUND, European Joint Programme COFUND (EJP COFUND) and co-funded by the EU under its H2020 framework programme for research and innovation, in collaboration with the NRDI Office, as well as in the joint international calls for proposals of other multilateral programmes following the operational mechanisms of these programmes.

The aim of this call for proposals, financed from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, is to support Hungarian participation in the EUREKA programme, which promotes international R&D cooperation between businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.
