At the meeting Committee members were complemented by representatives of the Royal Norwegian Embassy, Financial Mechanism Office, Research Council of Norway (RCN) and National Innovation Office (NIO), as well as observers from stakeholder institutions.
On the first day participants received warm welcome by Ildikó Kovács PhD, Head of Department for International Affairs and heartily greeted by H.E. Tove Skarstein, Norwegian Ambassador to Hungary.
After approving the agenda, participants have received an overview of the EEA/Norway Grants, Regulation and Annex 12 by Ms Aleksandra W. Haugstad on behalf of RCN. Next was a presentation delineating the role and rules of procedure of the PC, and another one dealing with the objectives, time line and management structure of the HU10 programme area by Ms Edina Németh on behalf of NIO.
On the second day draft versions of key programme documents were presented and discussed, i.e. calls for proposals for bilateral research projects, small grant scheme and bilateral relations respectively, guide for applicants, guidelines for evaluation and selection criteria.By the end of a heavy day most issues have been concluded to consensus, and those which have not, have been consented to be subject to debate via electronic channels on the days to come.
