At a major EU Conference in Amsterdam on 4 April, Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation Carlos Moedas outlined his vision for a common EU approach to Open Science in Europe in a keynote speech.
Moedas said: “I believe every scientific article from Europe should be open access,” as he gave his strongest support yet to an EU-wide push to steer publishers into opening up academic journals.
