Hungarian startups meet with Israel-based businesses

The National Economy Ministry, the National Innovation Office (NIH) and the Israeli Embassy to Hungary hosted the first Israel-Hungary Innovation Day at Graphisoft Park yesterday in Óbuda. NIH acting chairman László Korányi stated that an agreement signed on Wednesday by his office would provide €2 million in funding to Israel- and Hungary-based business looking to establish or advance business relations.
Economic Strategy State Secretary Zoltán Cséfalvay meanwhile announced the established of a working group by the National Economy Ministry that seeks to transform Budapest into an international center for startups in Central and Eastern Europe by the end of this decade.
