The new Associated Members should have key competencies in the field of sustainable aviation Research & Innovation notably todevelop, integrate and demonstrate disruptive aircraft technological innovations capable of decreasing net emissions of greenhouse gases by no less than 30% by 2030. Members should be able to ensure that the technological and potential industrial readiness of innovations can support the launch of disruptive new products and services by 2035.
Main objectives of the Call for Expression of Interest
- Engaging with stakeholders having additional competences and capabilities relevant for implementing the programme and its objectives;
- Mobilising and pooling additional in-kind contributions and investments to the programme from organisations wishing to become an Associated Member;
- Fostering synergies with other parts of the EU research & innovation programme Horizon Europe, national R&I programmes and regional programmes.
All Private Members (Founding and Associated Members) participate in the CAJU Technical Committee and have the right to contribute to (and be consulted on) the definition of the programme’s strategy, technical roadmap and priorities. This includes the preparation of proposals for the technical priorities and research actions to be included in the work programme and the research topics for open calls for proposals.

The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is 22 June 2023, 12.00 (midday) Brussels time. Any applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
