The Investor Ready Energy Efficiency (IREE) certification for commercial and multifamily residential buildings gives investors and financial institutions guarantees that an energy efficiency renovation project is environmentally and financially sound.

The IREE™ certification is based on the ICP framework, which assembles best practices and existing technical standards into a set of Protocols that define a clear roadmap for developing projects, determining savings estimates, and documenting and verifying results. The delivery of the accreditation scheme to the EU is supported by the Horizon 2020 programme.
