HUF 5.7 billion public funding for startup incubators
A decision has been taken in the Startup Factory funding programme, announced in October, to support the development and incubation of technology startups: 12 technology incubators across the country have been given the opportunity to invest their own capital in promising startups of their choice, supplemented by public funding, and to support them in achieving market success by providing capital and business know-how.

Over HUF 30 billion for basic research projects
Launched on 21 September 2023, the Focus Area Innovation Call for Proposals 2023 of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDI Office) has been successfully closed. The project proposals were reviewed by academic and market experts, as well as the newly established focus area innovation boards covering the 3+1 focus areas of the John von Neumann Programme.

Nearly HUF 14 billion to support excellent Hungarian research
