This is a call for proposals for EU action grants in the field of Coal and Steel under the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS).

The available call budget is EUR 40 000 000.

  • RFCS 2023 01 AM - Coal Accompanying Measures - € 1,000,000
  • RFCS 2023 01 RPJ - Coal Research Projects - € 7,000,000
  • RFCS 2023 01 PDP - Coal Pilot and Demonstration Projects - € 2,880,000
  • RFCS 2023 02 AM - Steel Accompanying Measures - € 1,000,000
  • RFCS 2023 02 RPJ - Steel Research Projects - € 20,500,000
  • RFCS 2023 02 PDP - Steel Pilot and Demonstration Projects - € 7,620,000

The costs will be reimbursed at the funding rate fixed in the Grant Agreement:

  • RFCS-2023-01-AM Coal Accompanying Measures : 100 %
  • RFCS-2023-02-AM Steel Accompanying Measures : 100 %
  • RFCS-2023-01-RPJ Coal Research Projects : 60 %
  • RFCS-2023-02-RPJ Steel Research Projects : 60 %
  • RFCS-2023-01-PDP Coal Pilot and Demonstration Projects: 50 %
  • RFCS-2023-02-PDP Steel Pilot and Demonstration Projects: 50 %
