The application phase and evaluation of the MAPS (Multilateral Academic Partnerships in Science) programme, announced as part of the second funding period of the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Program, has been concluded.

The call, aimed at establishing research consortia in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, and social sciences and humanities in cooperation with Swiss, Hungarian, Croatian, Romanian, or Bulgarian partners, was launched on 2 April 2020 with the application deadline of 1 July 2024.

The applications submitted were evaluated over several months by external evaluators and thematic international panels.
