The European Commission launched a survey in the summer on how the legal documents, processes and tools for Horizon Europe should look like to properly support the policy objectives of the programme.

The NRDI Office held the Horizon 2020 – Horizon Europe Forum and Workshop for Assessors on 4 July 2019 where Hungarian experts involved in the international assessment of H2020 proposals shared their experience. The participants all encouraged Hungarians to apply for international assessor positions as the experience gained from this work can also be exploited later as applicants.

Hungarian and Israeli biotech companies teamed up to tackle Crohn’s, an intractable inflammatory bowel disease that affects five million people worldwide. Its causes are uncertain. There is no foolproof cure and public understanding of the pain and chronic suffering it causes is poor.
