The call for proposals announced in January 2018 supports domestic micro and small size enterprises in the Central Hungary region to develop quickly marketable, innovative products, services and procedures as well as their market entry and intellectual property protection. The call is financed from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund.
This call aims to support SMEs which were positively assessed by the international expert panel but were finally not selected for funding in the first stage of the EU H2020 SME Instrument call due to lack of funds.
Such applicants may now apply for non-refundable funding for the successful participation in the second stage. SMEs selected for funding under this booster call will have to participate (following the preparation of a feasibility study) in the second stage of the H2020 SME Instrument call in order to implement their innovative solution, that is, to upgrade their already operating solution to a finished product, procedure or service.
