This call aims to support SMEs which were positively assessed by the international expert panel but were finally not selected for funding in the first stage of the EU H2020 SME Instrument call due to lack of funds.
Such applicants may now apply for non-refundable funding for the successful participation in the second stage. SMEs selected for funding under this booster call will have to participate (following the preparation of a feasibility study) in the second stage of the H2020 SME Instrument call in order to implement their innovative solution, that is, to upgrade their already operating solution to a finished product, procedure or service.
The call is aimed to foster Hungarian participation in the Horizon 2020 framework programme, as well as other RDI joint programmes and regional cooperations of the European Union, and to strengthen the networking and fundraising ability of Hungarian applicants. The above objectives are supported from the NRDI Fund, applications may be submitted int he following areas:
- Sub-programme “A”: support of arrangements for projects to be submitted by international consortia for Horizon 2020, ECSEL, AAL, EUROSTARS and ERA-NET programmes
- „B” alprogram: support to Hungarian partners of projects selected for funding in the international assessment process under the Danube Region Strategy, for consortium-building cooperation
