A decision has been made regarding the flagship call entitled “Development of neuromodulation technologies” of code No.2025-1.3.3-NEURO, launched on 1 October 2025.
The call aims to support the development of new chemical, genetic and neurophotonics methods designed to enable the artificial modulation of cortical and retinal functions and the restoration of visual function. The supported research focuses on high-resolution, precision interventions based on photolabile molecules, genetic vectors and real-time neuronal activity patterns, with special emphasis on the targeted modulation of cellular-level plasticity and learning mechanisms.
By the deadline for submission, one project proposal had been submitted under the flagship call, requesting HUF 500,000,000 in funding, which, based on the decision of the Funder, was granted non-refundable funding from the NRDI Fund.
