A decision has been made regarding the call for proposals entitled „Life Sciences Catalyst Programme – (PoC to Clinic)” with the code number 2025-1.1.4-LIFE SCIENCES II.
The purpose of the call announced from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund is to promote the implementation of jointly implemented drug development projects that foster cooperation among the actors of Hungary’s research, development and innovation ecosystem. Support is provided to organisations (or their owners, senior executives or lead researchers) with proven scientific or technological achievements in the field of drug development. The programme aims to harness Hungary’s life sciences research and development potential by supporting internationally competitive translational projects focused on solving unmet medical needs and aiming for market exploitation. It also supports the preclinical development of high value-added healthcare innovations emerging within the RDI ecosystem.
By the deadline 28 November 2025, 9 proposals were received with a funding request of HUF 9.9 Bn. Following the professional evaluation, based on the Funder’s decision, 4 projects received a total of HUF 5,242,526,051 in non-refundable funding from the NRDI Fund.
