What makes a smart scaffold smart?

The new generation scaffolding system developed by Caadex Kft. is currently unrivalled on the market. Not only is it more stable and safer than other solutions, but its intelligent sensors can alert the user if the scaffold is not assembled correctly or if the structure needs maintenance or inspection. The “smart scaffolding” creates a much safer working environment in the construction industry than traditional solutions, and its costs are not significantly higher.

This product innovation is based on a well-jointed iron structure that is stronger and stiffer than the average, making it more resistant to twisting and lateral movements. The scaffolding system is equipped with special sensors that collect data on the current condition of the equipment and constantly analyse them to draw attention to faults, if any, and even plan the necessary maintenance. The smart system, which brings many of the digital world’s technological advances to scaffold manufacturing, is a unique combination of static and electronic innovations. The company is not aware of any similar development in Hungary or anywhere else in the world, which is why it is optimistic about patenting and sustained market success.

The 100% Hungarian-owned family business, engaged in the production and trade of tinsmith and steel products, operates in Mindszentgodisa, a small village in Baranya, and today employs more than 100 people. Their mission is to use their 30 years of experience and expertise to help create structures, buildings and machines that lead to more liveable spaces, more economical operation, safer work and more environmentally conscious everyday lives around the world. They sell a significant part of their products abroad – in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic – but they are also major suppliers to prominent Hungarian companies such as Prímagáz, MOL, Total Hungaria, Bramac, Bosch and Siemens. Due in part to continuous improvements, Caadex Kft.’s revenue is growing dynamically, with almost HUF 5 billion in 2022, and a profit after tax of over HUF 470 million.
