Call for Science Patronage Programme

Thematic Excellence Programme

2021 winners of the “OTKA” young researcher excellence programme (FK_21)
The call announced separately for researchers who obtained their scientific degrees not more than 12 years earlier (after 1 January 2009)(FK_21) enabled young researchers to team up and launch independent research projects in Hungary. This year 426 project proposals were submitted with a total funding request of HUF 14.98 billion. The call for thematic projects specifically targeted at early-stage researchers (FK_21) supported 109 new projects this year with a total funding of HUF 3.82 billion.

Cooperative Doctoral Programme
The Cooperative Doctoral Programme (CDP), first announced in the academic year 2020/21, has been re-launched in the academic year 2021/22, given its extraordinary popularity among doctoral students.
