Funded projects of the Intellectual property rights (GINOP-2.1.3-15) call, 1st round
The purpose of the call is to support novelty search, patent applications and maintainance, assessment and audit of intellectual assets, to ensure increased domestic and international protection of intellectual property generated by innovative ideas, with a total budget of HUF 1 billion financed from EU sources. The call promotes greater awareness in using intellectual property protection tools to enhance the competitiveness of Hungarian enterprises and research institutions, and foster their market success and ensure the return of their investments in RDI activities.

Funded project of the Implementation of the ELI laser research centre (ELI-ALPS) large project, Phase 2 (GINOP-2.3.6-15) call
The scheme provides funding to the Hungarian facility (ELI-ALPS) of the Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) included in the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI), which will cooperate with the other two ELI facilities in the Czech Republic (ELI Beamlines) and Romania (ELI-NP). Once completed, the ELI-ALPS large project will put Hungary – and Central and Eastern Europe – on the “ERA map”, i.e. the country will be part of the European Research Area so it can also help increase Europe’s role in the global R&D sector. The successful implementation of the project is of tremendous importance for the entire Hungarian research and development ecosystem.

Funded projects of the Research infrastructure development of Higher Education and Industry Cooperation Centres (GINOP-2.3.4-15) call, 2nd round
The call intends to implement focused development of outstanding research organisations to achieve international standards and strengthen extensive R&I cooperation with industrial actors. Cooperation centres to be launched by Hungarian research entities will provide an open network for technology and knowledge transfer and joint R&I activities with industrial players and will also become capable of converting the outcome of research into marketable projects.
