The decision has been made regarding the 6 project proposals submitted between 31 January 2025 and 30 May 2025 to the call titled “Large Company Focus Area Innovation Programme” with the code 2024-1.1.2-NAGYVÁLL_FÓKUSZ, with a total funding request of HUF 14.1 billion.
The aim of the call, financed by the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, is to support the establishment and strengthening of innovation supplier networks and long-term cross-sectoral RDI partnerships along large companies’ development focuses in order to ensure the competitiveness of large enterprises and enhance their innovation potential. The call supports two different types of cross-sectoral cooperation: one type of cooperation aims to produce specific RDI results that can have a high impact on the consortium leader’s business activities and the national economy. The other type of collaboration supports the creation of knowledge-building partnerships suitable for conducting research with significant scientific, economic, and social impact, in areas linked to the competencies of large enterprises, where there is potential for scientific or innovative breakthroughs.
The funding applications were evaluated and ranked by the Innovation Board on the basis of reviews by external anonymous experts, after which the President of the NRDI Office recommended all 6 project proposals for support to the funding organisation.
Based on the funding decision, 6 projects will receive a total of HUF 14,121,695,156 in non-refundable support from the NRDI Fund.
