An award decision has been reached regarding the applications for aid submitted for the calls SM02-RES-PC3-AB and SM02-RES-PC3-C titled “Support for Cooperation between Research Infrastructures of the Research Programme Hungary” under the Research Programme of code No. SM-02-RES-PC3 of the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Programme.

The call, launched under the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Programme, aims to strengthen RDI cooperation with international/Swiss researchers through the involvement of Research Infrastructures (RIs). An additional key objective is to increase Hungarian participation and integration in international research infrastructure networks, and to promote multidisciplinary scientific research cooperation and Hungarian-Swiss scientific relations. The call specifically aims to support the utilisation by Hungarian and Swiss researchers of research and measurement opportunities offered by certain specific international research infrastructures of common interest, to promote research collaboration, the preparation of common components, researcher exchange and the organisation of joint scientific programmes, symposia, study tours, training courses, and to promote the exchange of best practices. The aid available under the call was provided in the form of a grant, with a minimum amount of HUF 100 million and a maximum amount of HUF 250 million per component element.

Under calls SM02-RES-PC3-AB and C, a total of 9 applications for aid had been submitted by the submission deadline of 15 October 2025, out of which 6 proposals were approved for aid following the professional evaluations. In the call SM02-RES-PC3-AB, 4 proposals were awarded a total amount of HUF 804,578,047 in grants, while in the call SM02-RES-PC3-C, 2 proposals were awarded a total amount of 17,763,148 in aid.
