The European Commission Representation in Hungary, in cooperation with the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, is organizing an information event to present the Enhanced European Innovation Council (EIC). Representatives of the European Commission will present the objectives of the EIC and practical information related to the submission and evaluation of proposals.
Over the next two years, more than € 2 billion in funding will be available to support the development of breakthrough, disruptive innovations with growth prospects.
- EIC Pathfinder pilot will support early-stage advanced research with grants of up to €4 million to promote collaborative, inter-disciplinary research and innovation on science-inspired and radically new future technologies, in any subject area (FET Open) and in specific focus areas (FET Proactiv): Human-Centric AI, Implantable autonomous devices and materials, Breakthrough zero-emissions energy generation for full decarbonisation, Future technologies for social experience, Measuring the unmeasurable –– Sub-nanoscale science for Nanometrology, Digital twins for the life-sciences).
- In order to accelerate market-driven innovations of alone-applying SMEs in any subject area € 1.3 billion will be given in funding under EIC Accelerator pilot over the next 2 years grants (up to €2.5mln) and blended finance (a grant up to €2.5mln in combination with an equity investment up to €15mln).
