The call announced in Junel 2019 aims to support Hungarian researchers to avail research and measurement services offered by international research infrastructures (RIs), particularly those in which Hungary holds full-fledged membership. The domestic contribution to participation is provided from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund under the 2019-2.1.6-NEMZ_KI call.
By the submission deadline 13 project proposals were submitted with funding request of over HUF 54.5 million in total. Out of them 11 proved formally eligible and passed to the qualitative assessment stage. The proposals were evaluated and ranked by a designated expert group. Based on their motion, the President of the NRDI Office recommended 11 proposals for funding to the Minister of Technology and Innovation.
