Financed from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, the call supports the participation of Hungarian institutions in EUREKA projects implemented in international cooperation by providing domestic funding for participation.
The EUREKA programme primarily promotes international R&D cooperation between businesses by stimulating the joint R&D activity of researchers and businesses and by supporting innovative near-market projects which are expected to result in new products, technologies, services or prototypes.
Accordingly, in the first round the first winning project (submitted by an industry-researcher consortium) received altogether over HUF 68 million in non-refundable funding from the NRDI Fund to implement its international EUREKA cooperation.
