The Call for research projects based on Hungarian–Iranian international cooperation (INN_16) invited basic research project proposals in the field of agricultural sciences. The call has a total budget of HUF 150 million financed from the NRDI Fund and the maximum amount of non-refundable funding is HUF 36 million per project.
The project proposals were assessed by anonymous experts and ranked by expert panels against the criteria published in the calls. Accepting the recommendation of the decision preparation bodies, the President of the NRDI Office agreed on the funding of 4 projects to be implemented in international Hungarian-Iranian cooperation as follows:
