The call aims to strengthen and widen scientific cooperation on international level and promote networking to enhance the international competitiveness of knowledge centres and produce internationally outstanding research results. Under this call supported research infrastructure implementations will create the possibility to join international research infrastructures and enhance successful Hungarian participation in different international initiatives among the National Smart Specialisation Strategy priorities. An additional objective is the widening and accelerating of domestic networking, therefore the research infrastructure development and/or upgrading thereof should be also matched to the already existing potentials of the national research infrastructure. The call is available under the Economic Development and Innovation Operative Programme (GINOP), for applicants outside the Central Hungary region, with a total budget of HUF 35 billion (EUR 111 million).
