Based on previous motions by the Innovation Board, 2 of the proposals submitted between 16 April and 22 October 2020 had been awarded funding. From 22 May until 30 June 2020 another 6 project proposals were submitted with funding request of over HUF 365.5 million in total. Out of them 5 were found to be in line with the formal requirements and suitable for qualitative assessment. The proposals were first assessed by anonymous peers against the professional evaluation and assessment criteria set out in the call, then they were evaluated and ranked by a panel of experts. Based on their motion, the Innovation Board and the President of the NRDI Office recommended 1 proposal for funding to the Ministry for Innovation and Technology i.e the Funding Authority.
