The total amount of funding available for OTKA calls in 2020 was increased with an approximately HUF 300 million, the amount that remained after adaption of the Frontline calls to international standards. The budget increase allowed the funding of seven additional projects on top of the ones previously proposed for funding by the scientific councils.
The following projects were selected for funding by the Ministry for Innovation and Technology, independently from the councils’ proposals, based on RDI policy considerations, at the expense of the additional funds. The projects are technically managed in the OTKA EPR system, but monitored by the Ministry for Innovation and Technology.
