József Pálinkás held talks on enhancing Hungarian-French scientific cooperation in Paris
Paris, 16 March 2017, Thursday (MTI) – France already backs Hungary but further efforts are necessary in the following period to make the entire Hungarian R&D sector and the ELI laser centre in Szeged a success story – said József Pálinkás, President of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDI Office) this Thursday after meeting the representatives of the French scientific community in Paris.

Knorr-Bremse to invest HUF 600 mln
Knorr-Bremse Rail Vehicle Systems Kft., the Hungarian subsidiary of the Germany-based firm, has announced an investment of HUF 600 million in a research project, supported with a HUF 270 mln grant from the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH), according to a press statement sent to the Budapest Business Journal today.

Hungary-Britain scientific co-operation to remain strong even after Brexit

Milestone in RDI programme financing
All RDI target groups received substantial funds as a result of the decisions made in the first phase of the application process. Nearly HUF 200 billion (EUR 645 million) EU and Hungarian funds were awarded for research and development and innovation (RDI) in the first evaluation rounds under the calls for proposals announced last year and this year – said József Pálinkás, President of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office at a press talk held in the NRDI Office.

Hungarian startups meet with Israel-based businesses
