The Innovation Board has an outstanding role in elaborating research, development and innovation policies and RDI strategy based on the national economic strategy, as well as in selecting members of the expert panels to evaluate project proposals submitted to competitive calls.
The Committee is responsible for mapping the domestic research infrastructure, assessing development needs, planning cooperation with foreign research infrastructures and continuously monitoring effectiveness in the relevant fields of science and research.
Formed on 31 October 2017, the Open Science Expert Committee now develops proposals and concepts in the following thematic areas: legislation, governmental policy, strategy, finance, organisation, communication and science assessment tasks.
