Under the call for thematic research projects based on international cooperation, fostering Hungarian research teams’ cooperation with Austrian or Slovenian partners, 12 project proposals won a total funding of HUF 462 million.

As for research projects of Hungarian–Austrian cooperation (ANN_22) evaluated by the NRDIO parallel with the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), and for those of Hungarian–Slovenian cooperation (SNN_22) evaluated by the NRDIO, after the approval of decisions by the respective co-funding organisations, a total HUF 248 million in funding was awarded for 6 projects under the first, and a total HUF 214 million for 6 proposals under the latter scheme. Among research projects of Hungarian–Slovenian cooperation evaluated by the Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS), 1 project proposal won HUF 36 million.
