Through increasing resources and new calls announced to support research excellence and projects of researchers below the age of 40, the NRDI Office has delivered on its 2017 promise to renew the system of calls for discovery research proposals – announced József Pálinkás at the RDI Calls Forum on 25 January. Such events are regularly organised by the NRDI Office to improve the quality of research and innovation proposals by sharing assessment experiences.
Two out of four calls fostering discovery research targeting young researchers
Available resources support projects proposing the study of natural and social phenomena and establishing new methods and procedures as well as programmes to boost the scientific career of young researchers and to start international research projects.
More comprehensive data on research, development and innovation (RDI) and information campaigns to raise the innovation-awareness of institutions and enterprises were both on the agenda of the meeting between Gabriella Vukovich, President of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO) and József Pálinkás, President of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDI Office).
