Deputy Secretary of State for Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture
Born in 1983 in Keszthely into a family of farmers, the Deputy Secretary of State for Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture grew up in Martonvásár, a stronghold of agricultural research, where his relationship with agriculture and innovation was shaped.
He obtained his law degree at Eötvös Loránd University in 2006, followed by a postgraduate degree in agricultural and rural development law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2013. He was engaged in the utilization of state-owned land, then, after holding various positions in water management and other public administration, he spent more than six years organising the agricultural ministry’s relations with the National Assembly and civil society.
As Director of International Affairs and Trade at the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture, in addition to his regular advocacy activities, he sought to promote and establish European best practices in Hungary and to develop cooperative scientific and research projects with European partner organisations.
In addition a member of the board of trustees of a community legal foundation supporting talented higher education students and member of the supervisory committee of the Chamber of Agriculture, he is an honorary associate professor at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Szeged, a registered project evaluator and a certified project proposal writing expert.
He is married with two children.
