Irodaépület üzemeltetésének optimalizációja dinamikus szimulációval
Abstract Given the fact that the building stock contributes significantly to the global energy consumption and CO2 emissions, an energy conscious building use can save large amount of energy, both at building level and globally. Building energy simulation software provide an opportunity to estimate the energy efficiency and energy consumption of buildings with high accuracy, thus they are also suitable for estimating energy saving potentials. Occupants pose one of the biggest challenges among the parameters influencing the energy consumption of buildings, as their presence, behaviour, operation of equipment, interference with the building’s control system have a significant impact on the energy consumption of the building, thus on potential savings. In this paper the energy consumption of a municipal office building in Budapest was examined using dynamic simulation software (DesignBuilder). The first model (Audit) was created based on the actual building usage and it was validated with measured data. Then different energy saving methods in connection with building operation and occupant behaviour were analysed (heating setback, more economic DHW consumption, more energy-conscious ventilation strategy, controlled lighting and reduction of night standby consumption of office equipment) and their energy saving potentials were examined individually and summarized. The reduced heating temperature had the greatest energy saving potential in gas consumption (34% reduction compared to the Audit model) and controlled lighting and reduced standby office equipment consumption caused the highest energy saving in case of electricity (14% reduction compared to the Audit model).
